Bulls vs. Knights

Everyone intently watching the game, and having their snacks.

This Friday we went to the Bulls game again. We went with the Anderson's, Cox's, Turley's and Welling's. This time they were playing the Charlotte Knights. The kids had fun watching the game (although it did take a lot of walking with Grace to get her to be ok with being there for so long). Benjamin has really begun to enjoy baseball, and has a pretty good arm and ability to catch. So, we all brought our mitts and came and watched. We even got to see a home run and the Durham Bull with red eyes moving tail and smoke. We also got to see a game of tag at home base.

I think the kids were getting tired for a bit, Lily wanted to relax a bit, and they were being so sweet. Ah, the ball game.

The view from our seats over the outfield.
A Bulls player on his way to first base after a hit.
The Bull with eyes a blaze and smoke from its nostrils after a home run.

Grace loved to hang out in this one spot in the stadium, just above the lawn. I can't say I blame her, it's the one place that wind could come in and out. She loved when the music was going, and could really got into it.
