Gracie is getting to the point where she wants to do absolutely everything on her own. So, when we were at Cape Fear and she took my finger when we were walking, my heart melted. I loved that she wanted to stop and say hello to the Weekes and their awesome dogs that she loved. But, I was thoroughly delighted when she took my hand again to walk to the car. I think I could have walked like that all day long.
