Christmas Day

The children slept in to almost seven on Christmas morning, so we were feeling a little more rested than normal. They checked out their stockings, and found a note left by Santa thanking them for the thoughtful treats, and apologizing for breaking our chair. Little did he know that it's a trick chair that is desperately in need of some glue that I've had for a while, and just haven't put to use. Anyway, poor guy felt bad about that, and the kids thought it was pretty funny. We acted out the Nativity and had to take turns with who got to be Mary this year, a new development. The pace was nice and slow, and the kids had fun opening presents and being together.
