Friday, Kara and I had a chance to go shopping and try on marvelouse orange shirts, that we regretfully returned to the shelf. We had a chance to have the scrumptious german chocolate cake for the three birthday-people, and enjoyed a quiet day. On Saturday, we tried scuppernongs at the Farmer's Market, hush puppies from Cook Out, Bojangles Chicken, and Goodberry's icecream. We ate most of it at a park, so as not to be seen as rude at any one establishment, but it was kind of fun to just get a taste of all the different places. There are so many to choose from, so we had to just pick a few. The kids had fun playing together, and spending time with John, Kara, and Myla.
