The day at home was supposed to be dreary, and humid, so we headed to the beach where the skies were blue, and there was only a light breeze. The kids had fun playing in the waves and sand, and the adults had fun catching waves. Jeff and I even had a chance to run to a pier in the distance and back, but the sand was really loose so it was a bit more difficult than usual. Grace got over her aversion to the surf, which prooved to be a bit scary at times, she was no longer affraid to head right in. Myla liked the waves, too, and didn't mind getting her toes wet.
