Blue and Gold Banquet
Benjamin had his Cub scout Blue and Gold banquet recently. It was a great time, the theme was on heritage and each of the boys was invited to make a presentation of where some of there family came from and some food from that country. Benjamin and I got to work together putting together his presentation on Norway. It was fun to show him pictures and help him learn about the country that he has been to once. He thought the story about Peter Lorents Tessem was pretty cool. He even helped me to make Kjottkaker-or Norwegian meatballs (much better than the traditional Swedish or Danish meatballs). He also did a great job in earning his last two yellow beads, his Wolf Badge, and a Gold and Silver arrowhead. Great job Buddy.
