This year was Benjamins first official pinewood derby. He and I spent a month putting together his design for the car. It turned out pretty well. We named it American Made Gold in honor of its golden paint job and Patriotic USA labels. Benjamin even made it look like it was some sort of a space shuttle. It won its fair share of races, and even took second place in the paint job. Benjamin was pretty proud of his trophy, and even has it proudly displayed in his room. It was a lot of fun to let our little boy make it. Probably the best part of the whole thing, was to see our Benjamin be so happy not just when his car won, but also when the others did too. Good job Benjamin!

Great job Benjamin! I don't think I ever won anything in the Pinewood Derby....so sad.

great job ben you have more races to win my oldest had his last race a couple of weeks ago he won 1st in his pack (webloes 2) those races are alot of fun i'll post pics of seth's car soon
