Wedding daze

Five weeks ago, we got the news . . . 

My little brother proposed to his sweetheart, and we quickly found tickets out west . . . 

The route was a little bit longer than you might think it should have been, but this allowed us to stop in Denver and see our Framily {Thanks for hosting us Washburns!} and some of the friends we love so dearly there, and drive through the lovely Rocky Mountains as we headed further west . . . 

I have to admit, I held my breath for a few seconds during the ceremony, but oh how happy we are for the beautiful couple! Sure loved the hugs afterwards too . . .  {My kiddos kept emphasizing at home that my brother was THIRTY and only BARELY getting married, thankfully, they didn't bring it up once when we were out there, at least to my knowledge}

Almost everyone was able to make it to the lovely event.  {We missed you Jenny, James, and Ella, but completely understand the fact that Ella is less than a month old!}

It was sure fun having all the Originals together again, even if it was for only a few short hours.  I sure love these people! {Kind of funny how we all revert to childhood rolls :)}

Congratulations Benjamin and Brie!  What a perfect excuse to head out west, so happy for you both!
