Lily's Baptism day was very special, and busy! Taking family around town to see the local sights, shopping for the following week, catching dinner at Hog Heaven (they've got some really great fried chicken in case you were wondering), getting everyone ready and to the church, but she was SOOOOO ready!
The talks by her Grandy and Bestemor were directed right to her. And her best friend from school, Bridget, came and sat right next to her in the front row. And she listened so intently. . . and sang with the whole family. . . received the Gift of the Holy Ghost, felt the Spirit, and enjoyed strawberry shortcake with fresh strawberries picked the day before (thanks for your help with that Jen and Lizz!) . . .
Sure appreciate everyone who could make it to share in her special day.
Perfect (even if the lighting inside the church doesn't do full justice to the group there).
