I also got out and played with the kids, notice how high the snow is on my pants...actual snow levels.
Benjamin and Lily out in the snow.

The kids crawling through the huge snow drifts.
Lily diving into the "pool".
Kathleen "shoveling" snow from the stairs.
The kids after being thrown in by dear old Dad.
Benjamin diving in. On December 20, 2006 around 5 am Denver started to get a lot of snow. It snowed until the next day at around 2pm. We, of course went no where, but had lots of memories coming of when we were expecting Lily's birth before the blizzard of 2003. We tried to keep everything calm, because we were not able to get our car out on the road. Tons of people were stranded, and even the airport got shut down.
The kids had tons of fun playing outside in the snow. It was so deep!! They had fun diving into the snow, and specifically enjoyed being thrown into it.
We dug out today, and were able to get around a little bit in the car. The roads were pretty bad though, people were still getting stuck. Anyway, the storm is gone, and now we are just waiting for things to thaw out.
